The stone always covers the carpet, so the moisture cannot be volatilized through the "pores". The stone will cause "pathological changes" due to the excessive moisture and high water content. If it is necessary to lay carpets and pile up sundries, remember to change the position frequently and keep them dry and clean thoroughly.
In household life, if oil, tea, coffee, cola, soy sauce, ink and so on drop onto the stone surface, it will easily penetrate into the stone along the pores, forming an indelible stain. Once dirt is poured on the stone, it must be removed immediately to prevent it from seeping into the interior. During regular cleaning, special protective agent for stone should be selected, or a professional company should be invited for polishing.
It is better to avoid using natural stone in the bathroom. Because there is more water vapor in the bathroom, the natural stone surface is easy to become dull in such an environment, and produce a circle of white stains like clouds. In addition, chemical products such as soap and shampoo will also pollute the stone surface, making them rough and matt.
